Analyze/Inspiration...Insight/Seeking

Below are my first three boards showcasing my design explorations for my current studio project. Because the program is looking for something universal, yet contemporary restaurant, I would really like to dabble in the use of concrete construction through modern design techniques.
On my boards, I stated the program for the project, explored three different case studies, listed some precedents closely related to this project, and conducted some preliminary site analysis.
I would really like my design to follow both site-cast and pre-cast methods of concrete construction and allow for an easy, modular construction. Please enjoy and provide some thoughts!

Final Boards and Images

I finally have found a little time to get these files uploaded and onto my blog. It took forever and a day to resize them so blogger wouldn't freak out on me. SORRY for the wait!!!

Below, are my final boards for the Sunflower Research Facility in Goodland, Kansas. Along with the boards, are a few snapshots of the images located on them, as well as a few final renderings of the project. Enjoy!

Circles...shake my head.

I am not getting used to this blogging thing...This is posted a little late, but this is work completed for the last "pinup" for last friday. It contains floor plans, sections, elevations and structural diagrams of my proposed Sunflower Research Facility. I think every architecture student falls into the "circle" problem of design in studio, sadly mine happened to occur during this project--while i was trying to learn Revit for the first time--and incorporate a ramp that fit ada accessibility rules. Boy was it fun!!

After taking some time to look at the images, I have found mistakes that I need to correct, such as material placement..window placement..structure organization and minor issues with room layout.

3 Schematic Ideas and further exploration

This is a grouping of some design process involved with multiple schematic ideas and then further exploration one one of them. My ideas are inspired by the seed in its first stages of growth. How the seed is starting to emerge/grow from its shell. I would also like to incorporate a massive green roof that is accessible from ground level.
